About the Symposium:
It is close to a year that the SATHI Centre for insitu and correlative microscopy (SATHI-CISCoM) was inaugurated at IIT Hyderabad on 8 September 2024. On the Occasion of the first anniversary of the establishment of SATHI-CISCoM, the annual symposium on advances in characterization techniques is being organized from 8th and 9th September 2025. The symposium will have talks from leading experts employing advanced microscopy techniques addressing for various challenges in domains ranging from materials to biological samples.
Topics to be covered:
Lectures on microscopy technologies including: Advances in characterization techniques, Correlative microscopy, Atomic scale characterization (APT and TEM), Functional materials characterization (AFM, MOKE, Rheometer), Characterization of Biomaterials (FTIR, Confocal Microscopy, Raman Spectroscopy), Pitfalls in sample preparation.
